Throughout history, the garden has been the greatest provider and influencer on society as we know and enjoy today. It was the original source and provider of basic needs – like food and shelter. It provided medicine. It influenced architects, artists, and designers. It provided places of beauty, relaxation, and healing.

This curated culture of recognizing, using, and being influenced by the garden is more than just an idea. Its a lifestyle. A lifestyle that’s filled with culture, filled with the garden, that makes everyday life just a little bit better.

BACKGROUND

Founded by the nationally recognized landscape design team Matthew and Heather Murrey, Season and Societe was born through their design process. Their study of the relationship between culture and the garden has been the backbone of their design process. They believe that the garden not only influences culture, but that one’s everyday culture can influence the built environment they surround themselves in. They believe that when peoples lifestyles connect to the built environment they surround themselves in, then they have created the ultimate refuge to call home.
